Widespread School took center stage at the Taula d’Entitats in Girona, a key meeting space for those responsible for the city’s educational services.
We shared the project’s policy lines and its transformative vision: moving beyond one-off activities outside the classroom to build a truly connected educational ecosystem. Widespread School promotes the active involvement of other educational agents—such as artists, as seen in Escola Carme Auguet—who become co-responsible for children’s learning through co-planning and co-teaching.
In dialogue with other initiatives linked to EOC (Education Outside the Classroom), Widespread School stood out as a strong approach to advancing more open, collaborative, and community-based models of education.
The session concluded with working groups focused on municipal educational resources and how to strengthen them in line with this shared vision.
